♥ Who doesn’t love Valentine’s Day!? ♥ Whether you are in a relationship or single it is always nice to feel loved. But, it is also important to love yourself for who you are, how God made you, and most importantly, to love the man above that has given all of his love to you EVERY SINGLE DAY ya’ll! I  have always loved Valentine’s Day. I think of it as this cute little fun holiday that has all pink everything, all the hearts, the chocolate covered strawberries, the sweet notes and cards, the roses, the cheat meal, and so on! I’ll take all of it please hehe.

I will give credit to God and my mama for this one. She has always made me and my siblings feel loved through everything, even through the tough times or the rough days, she always has a smile on her face and is ready to give us a big hug and take care of our needs even before her needs! I am so thankful for how loving and giving my mama is and how she taught me to love one another. I feel like that is what more LOVE means… putting others first, making sure your loved ones feel loved, being understandable, kind, patient, being there for one another through the good and the bad times, and just making someone smile. So now I feel like it is my duty to make sure others feel loved, feel welcomed, and feel great about themselves. I love making people smile and doing what I can to brighten there day! You never know how far a small, sweet complement can go with someones day!

Now, lets talk about Jesus. He loves each and every one of us more than we could ever know! He takes care of us, provides for us, gives us opportunities that we never thought we could do on our own, he has a PLAN for us, he is always there for us, and all we have to do is trust him. Even when things don’t go our way, we just have to trust God and know that he may have something better in store for us. God’s love for us is so deep. I love the fact that I can pray and I have someone listening to help me, guide me, or someone there to just hear me out. That is love. I feel God’s love in so many ways and I pray that you all do too. He can move mountains ya’ll. I have prayed long and hard about many things and he hears me out and he answers my prayers. It might not be right then that he answers my prayers, but he always does in some way at some time. That is unconditional love. Love one another as God loves you! I encourage you to pray more, talk to God more, put him more in the center of your relationship and see how your world changes. Yes, I am saying that but this includes myself too. I am always trying to keep myself in check with remembering to talk to God more, because lets be honest sometimes life gets crazy. But that shouldn’t be an excuse, he does so much for us and shows unconditional love to us that we need to always stay in touch with him. Give God more love.

Some of my favorite bible verses talking about love…

John 15:12: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

1 Peter 4:8: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Romans 12:9-8: “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil, cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honer one another above yourselves.”

Surround yourself with people that build you up, people that show you love and that love you, people that will help you and be there every step of the way. Always show love to your loved ones and make sure they know you love them, tell them you love them every chance you get too. ♥ Build others up, brighten someones day, meet new friends and love them! We always need more love and less comparing in today’s world. God wants us to love everyone just as he loves us!

Rather you are celebrating Valentine’s Day with your significant other or having a Galentine’s Day, love on your loved ones! Also, love yourself and who you are! That is so important to your health, to your life, to your social life, and to your happiness! Have a good balance to your life and live a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes I see people be closed off from making new friendships or just saying hi to someone you don’t know. Always be open to meeting new friends, and to being nice to someone you don’t know! You never know what a “hello” or a smile could do to someone’s day because you also never know what that individual could be going through. Make someone’s day! We all need to show more love and love more.

So, that being said. Go love on your friends, your family, your boo thing and so on! Always let them know that you love and care for them! Smile at someone you walk by, say hi to someone, brighten somebody’s day, make them feel loved! Give your friend or your boo a sweet note, send flowers to your mama because she has done so much for you, tell someone you appreciate them and what they do for you, be open to meet new people and always make others feel welcomed! Love more and show more love, always. P.s. That is why I titled this more love. 🙂

Happy Saturday! And have a Happy Valentine’s Day rather its with your boo, your bestie girls, family, or your doggies!! 🙂 If you ever need someone to talk to I am always here to reach out too!

XO- Raka’
