This smoothie recipe that I decided to try is sooo good and refreshing! I wanted something that wasn’t going to cost me $6 per smoothie, something that didn’t have all of the added in sugars that we don’t know about, and at last, something fruity and refreshing! I love smoothies so I had to think of something that would satisfy the craving for me and that wasn’t going to cost me $6 every time I wanted a smoothie (all though, the $6 smoothies at places are good and a good treat when you are on the go!)

This smoothie I make as a study snack, in the morning with my breakfast or just a mid-afternoon snack when I am needing something refreshing! This is one of my many smoothie recipes! I will post more later on 🙂 On the fruit, you can do non frozen, I just grabbed the frozen because it doesn’t go bad as fast and it is cheaper!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Frozen Mixed Fruit (strawberries, mango, peaches, pineapple mix)
1/2 cup (or a little less) Frozen Pineapple chunks
1/2 cup Silk Coconut milk
1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Breeze milk
1 TBSP. Chia Seeds (If wanted, for protein/fiber)

DIRECTIONS: 

Throw everything together in a blender and enjoy! Sometimes I will only do coconut milk, and sometimes I will do half coconut milk, half unsweetened almond milk, or half coconut milk, half water, it is your choice! If you decided to use fresh fruit instead of frozen, add ice cubes!
